Hello, everyone!
For those who I have met at the previous NW Lichenologist Annual Meeting, you know I have been working on the lichen Cetraria californica with its IUCN and NatureServe Assessments. However, I did not feel as though this was enough, so I also created a petition to save one of its last known locations in Washington: Westport Light State Park.
This park is an important ecosystem and houses many different types of Flora, Fauna and Funga, and I believe replacing it with a golf course would be devastating and a waste.
If I may, I would like you to sign my petition so I can help save this State Park. Here is the link if you would like to sign it:

Thank you to everyone who I met at the meeting, and for going on that awesome foray to the dunes where we found it!
