Tax-exempt Status

Northwest Lichenologists Inc. (NWL) is a non-profit corporation registered with the State of Oregon, U.S.A. NWL is tax-exempt under section 401(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

NWL welcomes financial contributions to help support our purposes and activities. Contributions are fully tax deductible and will be acknowledged in writing. For more information, see Contribute.

At present NWL is not a members organization and we have no membership fee. Our activities are supported totally by volunteer efforts, contributions, and fees for participants in trainings and certifications.
