There's a new book, Rocky Mountain Field Guide, A Trailside Natural History, that includes a section with surprising number of lichens over 19 pages. It has nice photos, common names for those who want them, Latin names, and pronunciation help for the Latin. Most of those pronunciations I tend to use, for example, he has "us-nee-a" rather than the foreign-sounding "oose-nee-a". There is also a short section on bryophytes. The book is by Daniel Mathews, who has been writing natural history guides for a long time and was a regular at NW Scientific Association meetings. Some of you will be familiar with his Cascade-Olympic Natural History.
