Illustrated glossary

Can anyone recommend a stand-alone illustrated glossary for the lichens, or a downloadable online resource with a photographic glossary? The ones I’m finding online are either limited or not illustrated. And, although my lichen books all contain glossaries, it would be very handy to have a book that I could peruse while trying to identify something, without losing my place in the key. Something like Malcolm & Malcolm’s Mosses and other Bryophytes: An Illustrated Glossary. Thanks!

    Hi Dan,

Here is a pretty good glossary with pictures. http://www.lichens.lastdragon.org/faq/glossary1.html

    Hope this link works.

This is good to if it worked. I printed mine out and took it to Staples and had it spiral bound.

Cool! It’s always good to have multiple sources. Sometimes a particular description fits better with my own imagery.
