Previously mentioned Cyclohymenia epilithica near Stegosaurus Butte “trail”. Didn’t see any on more recent hike just across the valley of the Snoqualmie Middle Fork up Martin Lk “trail”, but did encounter it twice last week, on way up Goat Mt near Mt Baker in North Cascades of WA, on Si rock in shady coniferous forest at about 1000m, and again (quite a lot of it) a few feet from the road at Nooksack Falls, Si rock in shady coniferous forest at 470m elevation. It seems that C. epilithica is common in the WA Cascades as I have been out there in shady forest only a few times this summer.

Protoblastenia incrustans at Sibley Pass (north of Hidden Lake Peak), North Cascades, on small marble band at 1860m.
