    Hi all,

I need some help with this little brown crustose. The keys take me to Buellia badia but the spot tests are wrong. The cortex is K- C- KC- N-. Medulla is K+ slow red KC+ bright red fading C+red P-. Ascus is I+B. Spores are dark, septate and around 13 X 7.5µ. Growing on moss and rock. Any ideas? Pictures in gallery, marked #1370.

How about a mixture of Buellia badia and a Neofuscelia species?

Thanks Bruce, I hadn't though of two species growing together (actually I think a Leptogium is in there also). I'm thinking N. loxodes description from CNALH fits best.
