Hi everyone! my name is Wendy Johnson, I recently retired and moved to Tumwater to to be near my sons. I participated in Ohio State's Volunteer Naturalist pgm and helped with Oak Savannah restoration and attended weekend lichen and moss forays and identification sessions at Ohio State University. With work I never had time to get out to gain knowledge and I.D. skills but am hoping to now.

Wendy, Roger, and other new participants -- you should consider attending our annual spring gathering in conjunction with the NW Scientific Association. It's a great way to develop your skills and get to know others in our group. This year it is in Ashland, Oregon and will have the usual mix of field trips, workshop, and talks. See the upcoming events page for more info.
