Ophioparma ventosa vs. lapponica

Does anyone know if O. ventosa has a K+violet apothecia disk? Do the spores of lapponica and ventosa look the same? Lichens of North America says they are quite different, but CNALH says they are very similar. Picture called Ophioparma ventosa spore in gallery.

Yes, those two are very similar in external appearance, but the spores are quite different.

Both have the same red pigment, haemoventosin, which is K+ intense blue, then violet, and then intense magenta, finally fading to a pale magenta. This is one of the most spectacular spot tests in lichens, well worth seeing.
