    Hi All,

Does the photos in the gallery marked 411 look like Heteroplacidium? The squamules range from 0.2 to 1mm. unfortunately I haven't been able to find any spores. It is growing on pumice soil and some moss in sagebrush steppe.

    Thanks.

It does look like it but I don't think it IS it. Heteroplacidium that I know grows only on soil, not on mosses like this appears to be. Could it be Toninia? Or something else?
    Best, Daph
