    For those on the field trip(s) out of Bend last week... Here are the field trip locations. Note that these are approximate, since people were pretty well spread out.

    Thursday, informal field trip

    North slopes with scattered Pinus ponderosa and Juniperus occidentalis in bunchgrass and shrub steppe with Artemisia tridentata and basalt outcrops.

    South side of Whychus Canyon Preserve, NE of Sisters
