tiny fruticose lichen

    Hi all,


    Does anyone recognize the little fruticose lichen in the photo gallery marked Sis1 and Sis2. It is on oak bark, appears to have cyanobacteria photobiont and the branches are +- 60 microns wide. It came from the Klamath Siskiyou Mountains.

    The sis2 photo sure looks like Dendriscocaulon! Sis 1 looks different, too light, so I am not sure. I'll post a few photos of the real thing. You should have ti there, so I think that is what it is.
