Hi all, can anyone tell the genus of this little brown lichen? The picture of the blueish green apothecia goes with this lichen. The only spore I found is hyaline, around 13x8 microns.

Steve, that is a species in the Lecidea atrobrunnea or L. fuscoatra groups. There are several possibilities but TLC is needed to know for sure which one you have. Lacking TLC I would suggest testing the medulla with IKI. If negative, then probably L. fuscoatra group. If I+ violet then Lecidea atrobrunnea. Each group has multiple species in our area.
